We have only had this replacement battery for a week now, but, it has been working very well. It holds the charge well, lasts longer than the original battery, and the price was very reasonable. Dell no longer seems to carry this battery, so, I turned to amazon.com and found what I needed right off, and it is Dell's own product. The seller provided really great service. They processed the order and shipped in a very timely manner, and the product arrived within two days of the estimated delivery. I especially appreciated the prompt service from the seller, as I needed that laptop for special computer class and it saved a lot of time from having to borrow a laptop and set it up.

I purchased this battery for a Dell Inspiron 4000 Laptop computer. The programs on the computer work just fine and the battery life seems about what it used to be. The only difference I notice is that the screen is not as bright as when the computer is connected directly through the AC adapter. But it is really nice to have the old laptop back up and fully functioning again! Thanks Amazon!
